Projects

• Hardware Board Design: Multi-Media player iBox design with 666/800 MHz DDR2 using Broadcom BCM7405 IC, a multi-format HD digital V/A SOC for satellite, IP and cable DVR Set-Top box, with Watch-and-Record DVR.
• Hardware Board Design: Designed a Solar powered X-Bee with radio communication to collect temperature/moisture sensor reading for agriculture irrigation application.
• Embedded Software: Designed and developed a new IP set-top with 32 bit MIPS/Broadcom System-on-chip (SoC) platform.
• Embedded Software: Designed network and multimedia protocol software (UDP, TCP, UPnP, etc.) for DTV IP based Set-top box using C++/Java.
• Web Applications: Website development for internal design engineering group. ASICSoft was responsible for the entire design from concept to completion. Tools used: PHP, Perl, MySQL, JavaScript, GForge framework, HTML/DHTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, Apache, Linux.
